Summary: [systemd] partial "rcnetwork restart eth0" restart
breaks network.service redirection
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 12.2

Status: NEW

When the network were started and there is a dhcp client running, e.g.:

# /etc/init.d/network status
redirecting to systemctl
network.service - LSB: Configure the localfs depending network interfaces
Loaded: loaded (/etc/init.d/network)
Active: active (exited) since Tue, 19 Mar 2013 20:58:32 +0100; 8min ago
Process: 4059 ExecStop=/etc/init.d/network stop (code=exited,
Process: 4980 ExecStart=/etc/init.d/network start (code=exited,
CGroup: name=systemd:/system/network.service
└ 9499 /sbin/dhcpcd --netconfig -L -E -c

A manual call to "rcnetwork restart eth0" or also "ifdown eth0 ; ifup eth0"
with restart the interface and the dhcp client is running after, but systemd
does not consider it as part of the network.service any more.
