In order to implement blinking xfce4-panel's XfceArrowButton widget which is
derived from GtkButton applies the background color of the theme's
GTK_STATE_SELECTED state. However, as I understand it, with Adwaita 3.6.2 the
background of GtkButtons is a pixmap which obscures or overrides the background
color so blinking isn't visible any more.
This is bad since windows which demand attention via the ICCCM urgency flag do
not become visible any more in the taskbar but unfortunately I do not know how
this can be fixed. It probably doesn't affect GNOME directly since they don't
have taskbars, it probably does affect Gtk applications which colorize buttons
and other widgets though.
