I'm not sure I can explain the details very well, but the bottom line here is
that you can not arbitrarily add features to any processor model and have it
result in a correct cpu in the guest. I suppose we need to generate some rules
for what will work to provide guidance.

Beginning with the kvm64 cpu model, and adding features from there can get you
in trouble.

If you are interested in passing through the avx feature to the guest, may I
suggest using the SandyBridge cpu model. If that doesn't work for you, please
reopen this bug.
