https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=796644 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=796644#c0 Summary: Graphical GUI (KDE/XORG) randomly frozen with input (Mouse, pad, keybord...) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.2 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: serge.jadot@free.fr QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.22 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/25.0.1362.0 Safari/537.22 SUSE/25.0.1362.0 Hardware: Nvidia Optimus. Laptop "Keynux" (French company) Windowing: KDE4. Driver: Nvidia (thru bumblebee/optirun) When moving pointer with mouse, sometime with trakpad, or rarely writing with keybord, the screen is frozen. I configured the system to catch SysRq... and it works fine. If I had some musik running (Mplayer, Amorok), it continues untill end of the part. I did not find any log. I made logs to catch any information... in vain, nothing interresting. I can help you to find the bug, for instance installing some debu tools or writing some srcipts on my PC. (even for other bugs tracking) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Random! Actual Results: Between few minutes to more then one hour. More frequent when moving quickly (accelerating) the mouse. Expected Results: Screen looks frozen. No more inout device except Sysrq to reboot cleanly (configured by myself in Yasp) I pushed the level "Critical" because I can lose data when writing doc... But of course I do not like presure, especialy if we are few people suffering that case. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
