https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=767395 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=767395#c0 Summary: openSUSE 12.1 wallpaper displayed instead of 12.2 wallpaper (cache issue) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.2 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 12.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: suse-beta@cboltz.de QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer Blocker: --- I used the "openSUSE default" wallpaper on 12.1. After updating to latest Factory, I still see the 12.1 wallpaper, not the new 12.2 default wallpaper. If I right-click the desktop and open the settings dialog, the preview image shows the new design - but after selecting it, I get the 12.1 wallpaper again. This happens even after switching to another wallpaper and switching back to "openSUSE default" the next day. The only place where I could find the 12.1 wallpaper is in /var/tmp/kdecache-cb/plasma-wallpapers/usr/share/wallpapers/openSUSEdefault/contents/images/ The files in this directory are: a) with 12.1 design 1280x1024.jpg_#000000_0_1024x768.png 1280x1024.jpg_#000000_0_1280x1024.png 1920x1200.jpg_#000000_0_1440x900.png b) with 12.2 design 1280x1024.jpg_#000000_0_120x103.png 1920x1200.jpg_#000000_0_164x103.png My displays are 1280x1024 and 1440x900 - now guess which of those files are used ;-) I just confirmed the guess by deleting the 1280x1024.jpg_#000000_0_1280x1024.png file - after re-selecting the "openSUSE default" wallpaper in the settings dialog, I finally have the 12.2 design on my 1280x1024 screen :-) Needless to say that KDE should refresh the cache if the wallpaper picture changes ;-) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
