https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=763390 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=763390#c0 Summary: autoyast doesn't support some ldap options needed for a fully functional ldap client Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.2 Version: Milestone 3 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.2 Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: AutoYaST AssignedTo: ug@suse.com ReportedBy: kleinrob@mpip-mainz.mpg.de QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (X11; Linux x86_64; U; en) Presto/2.10.229 Version/11.64 The autoYaST profile currently doesn't support a parameter for the bind passwort. It also doesn't support a parameter to specify a tlc cacertfile -- there is a parameter to specify a file name for the tls cacertfile, but no way to deploy the cacertfile using autoyast. example of autoyast profile: ... <ldap> <bind_pw>PASSWD</bind_pw> <tls-cacertfile-content>...</tls-cacertfile-content> Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Use an autoyast profile with the unsupportet tags <bind_pw> and <tls_cacertfile-content> in the <ldap> section. Actual Results: the content of the unsupported tags <bind_pw> and <tls-cacertfile-content> don't get used. Expected Results: A 'bindpw PASSWD' entry for the autoyast profile tag <bind_pw>PASSWD</bind_pw> in the <ldap> section and a tls_cacertfile containing the source in the <tls-cacertfile-contents> tag. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
