What often helps in case of "Machine runs hot quickly" on older laptops is cleaning the fan. Sometimes it's enough to just use a vacuum cleaner, sometimes it's necessary to open up the chassis and remove the dust by hand. Be aware that for old Intel (e.g. the Lenovo T400) there is a 12.2 bug that the cpufreq driver is not loaded. This can/will also result in increased heat production, bug #756085. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
