I have to toss this back to you. I've attached an initial attempt of using
unionfs-fuse instead of aufs, but this is maybe not the correct idea as
unionfs-fuse is in user space.
If unionfs-fuse cannot work becaue it is in user space we would hev to remve
the "unified" option for ISO images, which is fine by me.
Anyway, with the patch as is the creation of the initrd goes horribly wrong and
I could not figure out why the system didn't boot. ANd I do not know enough
about unionfs to understand the behavior.
