Here are readouts from kernel vanilla. Fan hasn't started to run since I
rebooted after installing this kernel.
lxmark@linux-7cqh:~> acpi -t
Thermal 0: ok, 58.0 degrees C
lxmark@linux-7cqh:~> lsmod | grep toshiba_acpi
toshiba_acpi 18582 0
sparse_keymap 13890 1 toshiba_acpi
wmi 19256 1 toshiba_acpi
rfkill 21871 2 cfg80211,toshiba_acpi
lxmark@linux-7cqh:~> ls -la /proc/acpi/toshiba/
total 0
dr-xr-xr-x 2 root root 0 Apr 14 13:04 .
dr-xr-xr-x 6 root root 0 Apr 14 12:59 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Apr 14 13:04 keys
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Apr 14 13:04 lcd
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 0 Apr 14 13:04 version
I found that the fan comes on automatically at 70C with the kernel:/HEAD
kernel.
