Sure, sorry for the "secrecy" :P
So we 're tracking a hw crypto bug on some AR2413 cards mostly made from Askey
(Toshiba laptops etc) and others. It's not a chipset bug (other cards with
AR2413 work just fine) so it's not easy to track and create a generic
workaround for it, it's implementation-specific.
We have the option to just tell users to use nohwcrypt, do a match with the
subsystem ID and disable it in the driver (that's probably what we should do)
or do some test run-time and disable hw crypto in case it fails (but that
should be done from above).
Problem is we don't know which cards are affected (we also got a report for
another subsystem ID) but I guess we can go on and do it on Askey-made cards
for now. I'll try to get a patch ready next week (sorry I'm on army service and
I have zero time to work on anything, I'll try to work on this on my 4days
break).
