This possibility is effective by the pop-up menu where you can select the context. When you select one of the sheets instead of the whole document (which is the default), the named range can be used in formulas in this sheet but it will not be visible in the Name box pop-up menu. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Tell Calc to create a new spreadsheet document. 2. Tell Calc to define name XYZZY local to sheet 1 as cell A1 in sheet 1. 3. Use the Name box to select the range XYZZY. Actual Results: 3. Impossible, XYZZY is not provided. Expected Results: 3. Cell A1 selected.
