https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=732823 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=732823#c0 Summary: ERROR with "xineplayer" in package "vdr-plugin-xine" Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: s.newslists@googlemail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0 After installing "vdr-plugin-xine" I recognized that /usr/bin/xine is not overwritten any more (a note anywhere would be cool). It seems that /usr/bin/xineplayer does this job now. It was hard to figure out how to use it, because there is no man page or help (it would be really cool to know how to use this package with a completely new behaviour), but I think the right should be: 'xineplayer "xvdr://IP#nocache;demux:mpeg_block"' But it gives back: "xineplayer: opening '/var/lib/vdr-xine/external.result' failed: No such file or directory" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install and set up VDR and install vdr-plugin-xine 2. Call 'xineplayer "xvdr://IP#nocache;demux:mpeg_block"' Actual Results: The program don't works Expected Results: The program should open xine-vdr -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
