I had openSUSE 11.4 installed on my office desktop. From time to time my GUI
session completely froze and all I could do was reboot the machine.

A couple of months ago I had to replace my reiserfs /home with a ext3
substitute and I no longer experience the issue. The machine was not reliable
before that change

Since yesterday (after applying latest patches) I experienced the same issue on
my laptop two times. I'm able to switch to another virtual console and a simple
"ls" or "find" on /home hangs.

System logs don't show anything relevant, and I don't know what triggers it, I
have many applications running at the same time.

Any suggestions?

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open many applications
2.Work as usual
Actual Results:
User session hangs

Expected Results:
Reliable filesystem
