The first problem is that during boot the message "Starting udev... udev[143]: error runtime directory '/run/udev' not writable, for now falling back to '/dev/.udev'" appears, followed by the message "udev[316]: failed to execute '/usr/bin/vmmouse_detect' '/usr/bin/vmmouse_detect': No such file or directory" I got this message always during the three tries I did today. The first time it took about 15 minutes, during which I tried things with the mouse, the touchpad, the keyboard and plugging in and out the USB mouse. This is all done on my Acer laptop. Finally the booting continued and I got YaST....with a working mouse. The second time I did hardly anything, but after a few minutes booting continued...with a working mouse. The third time, there was hardly any delay after the above message....and I got a working mouse in YaST. So unless the above messages is still an unsolved bug, this bug is not reproducible, so it can be closed. BTW. I got the above messages also when booting from the DVD. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
