Well i just tried this with current factory and up to date kernel from
Kernel:stable...
no this is unchanged.
the headset works again, but the warnings are still there when connecting to
the USB3.0 port.
additionally i did a rcalsasound restart while playing back a song with
pulseaudio, that promptly crashed pulseaudio, clementine, and finally
hard-locked the machine... (i have no backtrace tough =/).
in case a rcalsasound restart does not crash, the system behaves weird suddenly
characters typed in a kde konsole do appear after the next input event
only(there is always one character missing after typing).
but this could be related to the built in soundcard:
Aug 17 21:31:00 pulseaudio[17985]: module-alsa-card.c: Failed to find a working
profile.
Aug 17 21:31:00 pulseaudio[17985]: module.c: Failed to load module
"module-alsa-card" (argument: "device_id="2" name="pci-0000_01_00.1"
card_name="alsa_card.pci-0000_01_00.1" tsched=yes ignore_dB=no
card_properties="module-udev-detect.discovered=1""): initialization failed.
