I did. And to be sure, I just re-tested.
I find it's easiest to reproduce if I wait until the battery light goes
'orange'.
I did discover something that might be useful:
after the "Nth" reboot this morning, while at the grub (v1) boot screen, I
plugged in the laptop. It beeped dutifully, and I expected the boot would work.
It did not. I re-tested -- if the laptop is unplugged when it gets to grub,
even if it is plugged in when the kernel boots, I still run into the issue. Is
that potentially useful? Are the comments in comment 14, comment 15, and
comment 16 useful?
Does enabling any of the acpi debug run some acpi code, or write someplace, or
anything like that?
Again, this is a Lenovo T61p with the latest BIOS.
