I assume setting language is working well: what does 'locale' say when for
non-root user? Are German packages installed?
The problematic part is keyboard, I'll try to reproduce.
About LDAP: was /etc/ldap.conf modified? What does 'pam-config -q --ldap' say?
And what about 'pam-config -q --sss'? Are any new packages installed (pam_ldap
or sssd)?
What does it look like when you run yast2 ldap-client? (with UI)
