Currently it appears that OBS lacks support for dput, which breaks many .deb packagers' workflow which in turn puts them off from using the OBS. dput is supported by Debian's archive as well as Launchpad's PPAs. dput uploads a .changes file and stuff in it (source package, binary packages, or both) to a build server. Generally the uploads are anonymous, but are discarded without valid GPG signing. The server can then deal with the upload - either publishing binaries (bad for OBS), or extracting into OBS account & building.
