Summary: geometry for terminals should be in chars, not pixels
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 12.1
Version: Factory
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Enhancement
Priority: P5 - None
Component: KDE4 Workspace
AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@xxxxxxx
ReportedBy: jslaby@xxxxxxxxxx

GNOME 2's metacity shows window geometry in characters if the window is
terminal (xterm in my case). After GNOME 3 did it into factory I ran away from
that sh*t.

Kwin can show geometry of windows too. But I cannot set it to be in characters
instead of pixels. So if you implement this (or forward this feature request to
upstream) you will make my day :).
