If they have been given the CD or DVD by a friend these applications allow someone to connect their computer to the internet. I've logged this as an enhancement request although I had to dual-boot back into WindowsXP and download these separately before I could access the internet using the Linux version of Firefox. (You may wish to specify wpa_supplicant and ndiswrapper as bug requests) --- Dual boot windows and linux install "grldr" executable file in c:\ install associated "menu.lst" file in c:\ change windows XP c:\boot.ini: append 'c:\grldr="Linux"' and change the timeout "timeout=14" I installed linux onto a second disk in my PC (/dev/sdb) alongside windows XP on the existing C: drive (/dev/sda) and set up the Grub loader to boot Linux (edit menu.lst to specify "rootnoverify (hd1,0)" ) This allowed me to keep the existing WindowsXP ntldr boot-loader and dual boot into linux.
