https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=696486 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=696486#c0 Summary: kmail uses 100% of cpu Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: lukebryan@bdumail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0b12) Gecko/20110222 Firefox/4.0b12 Kmail uses 100% of the cpu. I don't know what it is doing. There is a minimized kmail window. But the monitor shows it is eating up all the cpu. It doesn't have any extra windows open to read emails or anything. It looks like it goes into a loop. It's only using .4 G of my 1.0 G memory, so the swap file is not the problem. This isn't the first time this happened to me. This happens about every other day or so. There are other times (after a reboot) that it does not. I rebooted, the kmail window is minimized, and the cpu is about 25% right now. So what triggers the kmail to go into a loop? Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce Steps to Reproduce: 1. Tried clicking in links in emails to bring up Firefox, but that didn't do it. 2. Tried reading multiple emails in multiple windows, but that didn't do it. 3. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
