Odd. Yes I did change the package selections in order to try to make that
message disappear, and after moving from syslog-ng to rsyslog, and removing
pcscd package, I gave up on that. insserv alwayss founds something to complain
about.
I have an ugly work-around, which is that I have built an rpm which simply
contains the /sbin/insserv binary from the current updated insserv package. I
have successfully merged this as an update into my autoyast tree, and
fortunately it is installed after the original insserv package, and before
anything runs insserv. This makes all my problems disappear. (I realise that I
should have been able to do this using the updated insserv package directly.
However, for some reason I managed to mess that up.)
I have no idea why I am seeing this, and no-one else is. However, if that is
the case, then there seems to be nothing more which needs doing, especially as
I have a work-around for my purposes. Hence I've dropped the severity a couple
of grades.
