Hi James,
how the heck could I know that? Who would give me the smallest little pointer
what that means? Seriously: no one can anticipate a package to prevent you from
printing - I even do not know what kerberized printing means.
I simply wanted to configure a printer - no message, no waring, nothing - just
the printing that is dysfunctional, and another PC sitting besides, the very
same OS, but I _accidentally_ did not install smb-krb-printing (still have to
check that tomorrow ...) and things work as a charm.
Nice that you tell me but - hey, folks, this cannot be serious. _If_ somenoe
installs samba-krb-printing then something would need to show up saying that
you cannot do as you plan if you do not do Y an Z on top - this is a
showstopper IMHO.
Thank you for your feedback, but this is a serious bug IMHO.
Take care
Dieter
