Hello Jiri,
This message is entered via my wireless internet connection.
I have 1st installed compat-wireless-scripts=2.6.38.2 and after that
compat-wireless for my "default" kernel flavor with KPackageKit. After
that still no wireless connection. I have hereafter shutdown and
restarted the system but still no wireless connection. Afterthat I have
run as root modprobe -r p54pci followed by modprobe p54pci and than the
wireless connection worked after a short while.
If I shutdown and restart the system again no wireless connection. Only
after the 2 modprobe commands the the wireless connection is working
again.
After a system sleep and awake cycle the wireless connection is still working.
What can I do to prevent the need for the 2 modprobe commannds after every
shutdown and restart cycle of the system.?
Do you need more info from my system. Please let me know in detail since I am a
regular user.
Regards, Frans
