Hi Lars, in fact immediately after posting the bug (so we get a reference
point) I fire obs on 1.0pre1. And get some feedback from the ML.
They want to push a 1.0.pre2 which resolv all kind of trouble in compilation.
About ipv4, sure it will remain a number of years, that's not the problem. But
ipv6 usage is growing quickly. How sys admin under openSUSE/SLE can monitor
those network if we don't offer them working tools.
Debian has fixed it's 0.17-17 version to have ipv6 support. So I don't know
which is the best, reuse debian patch, or goes to the pre version.
You certainly know packaging more than me, and so be able to make a choice.
