I'm pretty in the same condition : (so this is for information)
a /dev/md on top of that a pv, then vg -> lv ext4
I use bacula (packaged by myself) My first advise would be to upgrade to 5.0.3
Present on obs in contrib and archiving repo
I've my partition for mysql in ext4 too, and I've upgraded this computer from
11.2 to 11.4.
I didn't get any troubles nor writing/reading on my raid10 xfs backup partition
nor with / or /var lvm formatted with ext4.
The big difference is my sata controller are sata_nv & jmicron (only for the
dvd)
I use kernel-desktop 2.6.37.1-1.2.2, mysql is 5.1.53-4.7.1
