I experienced this in 4.3 and 4.4, I recall, and then it was later fixed. Now it's back! The easiest way to get this to happen is: leave laptop alone for a while. 5-10 minutes? unplug laptop. Uh-oh! Suspend-to-RAM! It *doesn't* happen every time, only if the laptop has been sitting for a bit. This are *exactly* the same symptoms as before.
