Summary: setup-pulseaudio --disable breaks mplayer.conf
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 11.4
Version: Final
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Other

Severity: Major

After running
setup-pulseaudio --disable
mplayer (from packman) complains about a broken option:

# mplayer
Option ,alsa needs a parameter at line 77

After some searching, I found out that this is about /etc/mplayer/mplayer.conf.
The diff before/after running setup-pulseaudio --disable:

--- mplayer.conf_before_setup_pa
+++ mplayer.conf
@@ -74,3 +74,3 @@
# Specify default audio driver (see -ao help for a list).

It should be obvious why this breaks mplayer...
(Changing the line to ao=alsa fixes the problem.)

Please release a fixed setup-pulseaudio as maintenance update.
