--- Comment #18 from Nick Kozubsky 2011-03-20 11:51:30 UTC ---
I've tested it with 11.4 i586 (as like x86_64). Without result.
What did I do:
I've got a new computer AMD3 AMD Phenom II (6 cores, 1055T), GIGABYTE
890GPA-UD3H, 4Gb DDR3,
create one file ifcfg-vlan56 after standart KDE installation by DVD disc of
OpenSUSE 11.4,
configured an eth0 --- any IP/mask. This is my ifcfg-vlan56 file:
ETHERDEVICE='eth0'
BOOTPROTO='dhcp'
BROADCAST=''
ETHTOOL_OPTIONS=''
IPADDR=''
MTU=''
NAME=''
NETMASK=''
NETWORK=''
REMOTE_IPADDR=''
STARTMODE='auto'
USERCONTROL='no'
I've got two interfaces: eth0 & vlan56 (do not get an IP from DHCP-server !!!
Dhcpcd is worked.).
Then i can see: Terminal hangs while /etc/init.d/network stop (or restart).
Also I can't to kill a dhcpcd by 'killall -9 dhcpcd' command. Reboot don't work
too (hangs on stoping vlan interface).
The same work fine with 11.3.
With hope to fix.
Nick.
