https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=679168 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=679168#c0 Summary: Amarok - MPEG codec - wrong mjpegtools version Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: nagybal@gmx.net QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0b12) Gecko/20110222 Firefox/4.0b12 I just freshly installed openSUSE 11.4 (it is NOT an online update from 11.3). Amarok is clever enough. Wants to install the MPEG codeck via KPackageKit. EM: libmpeg2encpp is required. Tried to install the codecks via the one click install (http://opensuse-community.org/Restricted_formats/11.4) Did not help. Solution: the DVD and the OSS repo contains the wrong mjpegtools package. I switched the "version" to the Packman repo. -> Amarok is able to install the MPEG codeck now. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: Amaro codecks work "out of the box" I am not sure if I report the bug on the correct place but since this affects a fresh version of opensuse though better to rise a bugreport here. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
