https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=672143 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=672143#c0 Summary: Adobe Reader dependency "libcrypto.so.0.9.8" missing on Addon and RC1-x86_64 DVD Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: RC 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: joschibrauchle@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US) AppleWebKit/534.13 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/9.0.597.98 Safari/534.13 Installation of acroread (Adobe Reader) fails due to missing "libcrypto.so.0.9.8". The system was installed from the RC1 DVD image: openSUSE-DVD-Build1056-x86_64.iso Acroread (i586) was installed from the Addon image: openSUSE-Addon-NonOss-BiArch-Build1056-i586-x86_64.iso The installation only works if the online factory/oss repo is added, where the libcrypto 32bit package is contained for x86_64. But I guess, all software on the Addon CD should install with the packages from the RC1-DVD and WITHOUT additional online repositories, right? Why else would I burn a DVD otherwise? Or how would I install this on a machine without network, if non of the DVD images contains the required packages? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install RC1 from DVD. 2. Add Addon-DVD as repository. 3. Try to install Adobe Reader (acroread) Actual Results: Fails, "nothing provides libcrypto.so.0.9.8". Expected Results: It should install fine. The Addon-DVD or the RC1-DVD should provide the required dependencies. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
