And you're pretty sure that a) the sub mount points regarding proc, sysfs
and debugfs will be unmounted, but b) the system mounts /proc, /sys, and
/sys/kernel/debug will not be unmounted during shutdown?
The code of boot.localfs does look this way because it was a request not to
unmount /proc, /sys, and /sys/kernel/debug, nor /dev/pts, /dev/shm, and
/dev/pts during shutdown/reboot (beside this also for root fs /).
The only way to avoid problems would be to use noauto for all system
relavant file system which should not be unmounted during shutdown ...
but AFAICR this was never accepted (due existing /etc/fstab's out here?).
