Here are test results: copying a 546 Megabyte directory via smbclient. With the devel branch, the size of the database file is: -rw-r--r-- 1 holger users 11K 6. Feb 02:46 /home/holger/.smbtad/staddb With the master branch, the size of the database file is: -rw-r--r-- 1 holger users 725K 6.
