Confirmed for a new Dell Latitude E6510, bought in 12/2010: the touchpad is
only detected as a mouse, but not as a separate device. The special touchpad
functions like scrolling are not available. Moreover, it is not possible to
turn it off, to avoid accidental operation while using the keyboard.
