I am having issues with bcm4312 on OpenSUSE 11.3, 11.4 M5 and SUSE Studio appliances. NetworkManager asks for password again and again for WPA2 security. I can connect to unsecured networks. I am attaching logs bellow.
The wpa_supplicant log shows that the driver is not working [1]. It would be good to know what driver is in use. Would it be possible to post out of "hwinfo --wlan" ? Also more detail could help as described in [2]. [1] Could not set interface wlan0 flags: No such file or directory Failed to initialize driver interface Trying to associate with 00:26:99:f2:a7:60 (SSID='ntua' freq=2472 MHz) Associated with 00:26:99:f2:a7:60 CTRL-EVENT-CONNECTED - Connection to 00:26:99:f2:a7:60 completed (auth) [id=0 id_str=] CTRL-EVENT-DISCONNECTED - Disconnect event - remove keys [2] http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Tracking_down_wireless_problems -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
