I have a similar issue here. Hardware is a 945GM on a Toshiba Sattelite
A110-178, openSUSE 11.3 with all updates. I'm only posting the first log entry

When this happen I first see X crash. At this time I usually can switch to
console and see that in the logs. After a few moments (I think it tries to
restart X) the graphics completely lock up, i.e. regardless what I do always
the output doesn't change anymore. Pressing power button properly shuts down
the system then. It looks for me as this happens more often after I switched to
KDE 4.6 beta2 3 days ago (2 crashes since then), before that I had something
like 3 or 4 crashes in 3 weeks (running KDE 4.5).
