Okay, bear with me... I am a newbie and it is not working for me!
This is what I am doing. Please let me know what I am doing wrong.
I launch Terminal.
At the ":/>" prompt I issue the command "cd home". (Without first using the "su
-" command)
Terminal now shows ":/home>"
I type in "tail -f .xsession-errors"
The output is:
"tail: cannot open '.xsession-errors' for reading: No such file or directory"
"tail: no files remaining"
