Using Gnu Unifont does not resolve the problem. Still the Minibuffer is 2 lines
wide if Emacs is used in KDE, even if only one line is needed.
If I choose the font, and set a size everything looks fine, but when I resize
the emacs window the minibuffer looks like attached in Commment 1.
So, this is only a minor issue, but I think it is related to a much more
annoying issue described here:

Thisone also involves KDE4 and Emacs and the Minibuffer. Maybe it is more of a
KWIN issue...?
