Only out of curiosity:
I wonder why groff writes a system-wide /etc/papersize file
and not its own /etc/groff/papersize when only groff needs it?
What else except groff needs /etc/papersize?
I wonder why groff needs a somewhat hardcoded papersize value at all.
Wouldn't it be sufficient or even better if groff determined
its paper size value only according to the current locale
of the user who curently runs groff?
Why cannot /etc/papersize be completely removed together with its
awkward SuSEconfig magic?
