Output of dmesg when the uvcvideo module fails to load properly

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.13)
Gecko/20100914 SUSE/2.0.8-23.1 SeaMonkey/2.0.8

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 notebook with an OmniVision Laptop Integrated
Webcam that works flawlessly, with the exception that sometimes the uvcvideo
module which drives it fails to load on bootup:

# dmesg|fgrep -i video
[ 9.599868] uvcvideo: Found UVC 1.00 device Laptop Integrated Webcam
(05a9:2640)
[ 9.610440] uvcvideo: UVC non compliance - GET_DEF(PROBE) not supported.
Enabling workaround.
[ 9.614946] uvcvideo: Failed to query (129) UVC probe control : -32 (exp.
26).
[ 9.618903] uvcvideo: Failed to initialize the device (-5).
[ 9.623016] usbcore: registered new interface driver uvcvideo

This happens rarely, and can be fixed by removing and reloading the module:

# rmmod uvcvideo
# modprobe uvcvideo

I experience this problem with kernel-desktop-2.6.34.7-0.2.2.x86_64.

Reproducible: Sometimes
