mkdosfs misdetects a partition on MD RAID. It reports the device of
the partition as entire device.

thalassa:~ # parted /dev/md0 print
Model: Unknown (unknown)
Disk /dev/md0: 42.9GB
Sector size (logical/physical): 512B/512B
Partition Table: msdos

Number Start End Size Type File system Flags
1 262kB 1086MB 1086MB primary fat32 type=83

thalassa:~ # mkdosfs /dev/md0p1
mkdosfs 3.0.9 (31 Jan 2010)
mkdosfs: Device partition expected, not making filesystem on entire device
'/dev/md0p1' (use -I to override)

OK, there is -I to override but still the detection is broken.
