I found it also appeared on another machine running 11.2. So far (12th September), 11.3 is free of this malady. Since updating an 11.3 system this morning (mostly KDE4.5 updates from the stable repository), the disease has spread there. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Try to login as root 2. 3. Actual Results: I get the message "Root logins not allowed".
