Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: BuildService AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: sommerluk@gmail.com QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; es-ES; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100723 SUSE/3.6.8-1.3 Firefox/3.6.8 OBS generates debug packages for Mandriva only if the debug flags are disabled. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use a .spec file without explicit support for debug packages. 2. Enable the build service flags for debug packages. Actual Results: For Mandriva, the build stops with the error message "error: Package already exists: %package debuginfo". Expected Results: Debug packages are created correctly. It seems to me that for Mandriva the debug packages are created always, by default. Maybe the flag handling could be adapted: OBS could simply ignore if the debug flags are set and default always to the debug flags being disabled. In consequence, we would always get debug packages, but no errors anymore. This could even be reflected in the WEB UI, be blocking the possibility to disable the Mandriva debug flags. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
