http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=623638 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=623638#c1 --- Comment #1 from Bernd Paysan <bernd.paysan@gmx.de> 2010-07-19 21:13:28 UTC --- I found a way to disable pcmcia, by moving the pcmcia_core.ko module to pcmcia_core.ko.disable (pretty brutal and requires booting a rescue kernel). This at least stops the system from crashing, and only renders my pcmcia card (and the SD card reader) useless. Correction: The last line to be seen actually is [<time>] pcmcia_socket pcmcia_socket0: cs: memory probe 0x100000000-0xfcffffffff: (one zero less) If time permits, I'll try to do some more debugging - the questionable routine is do_mem_probe in /usr/src/linux/drivers/pcmcia/rsrc_nonstatic.c (not for today). -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
