I'm not sure where the shortcoming is here. I think there are two compounding
issues. The QT YaST front-end definitely behaves differently than the GTK
front-end here.
To me there may be two distinct issues:
(a) OBS does not support categories on ymp-patterns(?)
(b) thus an arbitrary(?) category is chosen to group the pattern.
The QT UI should *definitely not* imply that a pattern is proprietary. Choose a
better label/category/group. "Uncategorized" would be better as a fall-back.
But we should definitely allow for defining these categories in the OBS
patterns.
If at all possible, we should apply some kind of workaround fix at the OBS
level on these patterns.
We should then ensure that the QT (or any other offending) UI does not classify
open source software as proprietary.
