http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=619718 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=619718#c0 Summary: "Focus Follows/(Strictly) Under Mouse" always raises focused window Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: RC 2 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: odabrunz@gmx.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686 (x86_64); en-US) AppleWebKit/533.4 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/5.0.375.99 Safari/533.4 When one of the focus policies other than "Click to Focus" is used, a focused window is automatically raised. The setting "Raise, with the following delay" (unchecking it or checking it and changing the delay) is ignored. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to Configure Desktop -> Window Behaviour -> Window Behaviour -> Focus. 2. Select "Focus Follows Mouse" (or anything but "Click to Focus"). 3. Make sure "Raise, with the following delay" is unchecked and Apply. 4. Move the mouse over some other window. Actual Results: The window receives focus, is activated and raised. Expected Results: The window receives focus, is activated but is not raised. Installed from openSUSE-KDE-LiveCD-Build0694-x86_64.iso, added Gnome and some other packages from the openSUSE 11.3 online repos. This breaks desktop navigation (with "Focus Follows Mouse" et al) for me. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
