--- Comment #9 from David Rankin 2010-02-24 00:11:31 UTC ---
Magnus,
I created a brand new user 'gnome' and logged into gnome as gnome. The same
errors occurred. I'm attaching the new user xsession-error, syslog, ps ax, and
screenshot as well.
Notice, the screenshot was what the screen looked like after login. (I moved a
dialog to put it in the middle, but that was it)
The xsession-error, syslog and 'ps as' capture the state of the session.
Something is definitely messed up. In the syslog, you can see there was a
gvfs-fuse error 23 seconds (before) the new gnome session. It looks like the
gvfs-error tripped a memory check on the fglrx driver and then then new session
started at 17:54:30. I don't know what the rest of the stuff means, but I do
know it adds up to a messed up gnome session.
Let me know what else I can send. Thank You for your help !
