User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/4.3; Linux) KHTML/4.3.1
(like Gecko) SUSE

Please find attached a patch that starts and stops virtualbox virtual
machine during boot or shutdown of system.

The file /etc/_init_d/vboxes has to be installed in /etc/init.d/vboxes
The configuration file etc_sysconfig_vbox has to be installed in

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
It's not a bug, but a feature. I might have used openfate as well for this
request, but AFAIK it is not possible to attached a patch to openfate.

Actual Results:
It is not possible to start (several) configured virtual machine during boot

Expected Results:
Start (several) configured virtual machine during boot.
In case of an system shutdown the virtual machines must be saved.

After configuration of the virtual machines in /etc/sysconfig/vbox, or
with '/sbin/yast2 sysconfig' -> System -> Virtual Machines -> VBox
The machines can be started with:
$ rcvboxes start
$ rcvboxes stop
$ rcvboxes status

I hope that the patch is appreciated....
