http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=581089 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=581089#c0 Summary: KDE 4.3.5 update uninstalls akregator Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: suse-beta@cboltz.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer Blocker: --- I just installed the KDE 4.3.5 update and some other updates (using kupdateapplet, my repos include 11.2-test-updates). I had a very interesting line scrolling along in /v/l/zypp/history: 2010-02-18 22:00:59|remove |akregator|4.3.1-3.4|x86_64| It looks like this was caused by the still installed kdepim3 package which provides akregator - but of course in a much older version. This means I was left with KDE3's akregator - not funny. For the records: As a workaround, I used rpm -e kdepim3 && zypper in akregator which installed the akregator-4.3.5 package. y2logs and a bugreport with the "whole picture" follow in some minutes. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
