I like to report, that it does work, spotty at best. I also notice, when the
fan does work like it should. Battery Plasmoid on KDE, which doesn't change
state when AC Adapter is connected or not most of the time, but when it does
work, the Fan as well works like it should. There must be a coalition between
the two? Also, it's usually on the second time I resume from ram in the same
cycle. I can't always reproduce it though. However, i read a thread
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-laptop-and-netbook-25/fan-acpi...
which is simliar to what is happening to me. I haven't tested acpi_osi=Linux
parameter, where as some users report, that fix their Fan issue with the latest
1.80 BIOS, which I currently have.
